Well-to do people should come forward to help poor: Collector Zulfiqar Younas

LAHORE Collector of Customs Preventive Zulfiqar Younas has said that under the social corporate responsibility well-to do people should come forward to take part in welfare works.

He was addressing a gathering arranged by Customs Agents Association at the GT Road.

He said that it is also the responsibility of the rich people and corporate class to help the downtrodden segments of the society to spend a good life.

He added that helping the poor class of the society is remarkably great deed and the people who come forward to help the class are also praiseworthy.

The function was held to give away the labors free of cost shoes and other items of daily usage to help the manual workers.

Additional collector Amir Rasheed, Deputy collector Asma Bahir, Agha Iftikhar, Customs Agents Association Lahore President Masood Alam Butt, Farooq Hassan V.P. Mirza Qasim Bagh and other were present on the occasion.

On the occasion Akhwat Clothes Bank also distributed cloths and other daily usage items among the manual workers.
