Wheat procurement arrangements had been finalised to purchase 134,000 metric tons wheat

SARGODHA: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Saqib Manaan Tuesday said that all wheat procurement arrangements had been finalised to purchase 134,000 metric tons wheat from the district.

While presiding over a meeting here he said that a plan had been formulated for distribution of about 1.34 million empty bags among the farmers and the bags would be distributed from Wednesday (April 29).

The meeting was told that revenue officer concenred would be the incharge of the concerned wheat purchase center that will ensure the seventy percent of gunny bags distribution till May 13.
