BRUSSELS: Wind power generation in Belgium reached a peak of 530.72 MW at 1745 local time on May 23, surpassing by 8.92% the forecast of the national transmission system operator (TSO) Elia.
The company expected wind farms in the country to be producing power at a rate of around 487.24 MW.
For May 24, Elia expected wind power to peak at 258.89 MW at 0000 local time.
The presented statistics are based on 1,834.71 MW of monitored capacity.
