WASHINGTON: Windsor’s unemployment rate crept up to 5.2 per cent in March, up a point from February but down 1.5 points from March of last year. The national unemployment rate rose a point last month to 6.7 per cent. The jobless rate was 6 per cent in London; 7.1 per cent in Toronto; 5.9 per cent in Hamilton; 6.4 per cent in St. Catharines-Niagara; 5.6 per cent in Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo; 4.7 per cent in Brantford and 5.4 per cent in Guelph.
