KARACHI: Deputy Director (HQ) Mahwish Shah issued Office Order No 25 of 2018 on Monday and distributed work among Inland Revenue Audit Officers (s), Principal Appraising Officers, superintendents, Appraising Officers (s) of Directorate of Post Clearance Audit (Customs), Karachi with immediate effect.
Following 18 officials have been given new roles:
The hearings before the adjudication authorities , collector appellate tribunal would be attended by the IRAOs/AOs/superintendents/inspectors of the concerned groups, as deputed by the respective assistant/deputy director. They would also draft the parawise comments and appeals etc. for the approval of concerned assistant / deputy director, before submission at litigation fora.
The IRAQs/AOs/superintendents/inspectors to observe the highest standards of objectivity, professional due care, courtesy and consideration, integrity and impartiality, as well as privacy and confidentiality of the trader, while discharging their duties.
