Work of Deputy Collectors, Assistant Collectors redistributed

KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) according to its Office Order No. 197/2013-ESST (A), No.S-37-56/2011-12-ESST (A) has redistributed the work between Deputy Collectors and Assistant Collectors in MCC of Appraisement (West) in Customs House, Karachi.

According to details, Syed Ali Zaman Gardezi, Deputy Collector has been assigned the job in R&D, AIB and Post Release Verification (PRV) Cell, FTA Cell, ADRC, Licensing, Ghulam Nabi Kamboh, Deputy Collector has been assigned the job in HQ-I, (Esst/Admin, Confidential, CHO, Transport Section), MIS (One Customs), Group-IV (Ch 50-70). Procurement, Computer Bureau/PRAL, Adjudication-DC level, Afzaal Ahmed Wattoo, Deputy Collector has been assigned the task in MIS-I, Group-I (Ch 01-27), IT Division, Mushtaq Ali Shahani, Deputy Collector has been assigned the additional charge in MIS-II, Group-V (Ch 71-83), Pre-Audit, Muhammad Faisal Khan, Deputy Collector has been assigned the task in Group-II, (Ch 28-38), FTO, Law Branch, Tribunal, Customs Laboratory, Abid Hussain Hakro, Deputy Collector has been assigned the additional charge in Group-III, (Ch 39-49), HQ-II (Cash Section Accounts, Policy & Coordination, Statistical, SR Cell & Budget Sanction Accounts Authority) CPF, Treasury, Asadullah Larik, Deputy Collector has been assigned the job in Group-VI (Ch 84-85), Bank Guarantee Cell, WeBOC role for printing cheques, Usman Tariq, Assistant Collector has been assigned the additional charge in Group-VII (Ch 86-89), Recovery Cell, CRA, Nausheen Riaz Khan, Assistant Collector has been assigned the task in Group-VIII (Ch 90-99), SRO 565 Cell, Public/Private Bonds and Warehousing, Kaleemullah, Assistant Collector has been assigned the additional charge in Import Section, SRO 492 and Temporary Imports, Trans-shipment, Adjudication AC level, Sabir Jamil, Assistant Collector has been assigned the task in AICT& BOML (Examination & Auction), Inter Port Movement, Muhammad Arsalan Majeed Rana has been assigned the additional task in KICT Examination, Internal Audit, Rafiullah Bangash, Assistant Collector has assigned the additional charge in KICT Examination, Valuation Rulings Monitoring &Coordination and Muhammad Akbar Jan, Assistant Collector has been assigned the task in West Wharf (Examination & Auction), MCD, Coordination with KPT & Terminal Operators.

According to the Office Order, each group will perform all related functions pertaining to both WeBOC and One-Customs and the groups holding charges of Procurements, FTO, Law Branch, Tribunal, Statistics, Bank Guarantees, ADRC, Internal Audit etc. will also ensure proper coordination with other groups/sections for preparation of information/replies etc.

It is pertinent to mention here that incumbent FBR Chairman Tariq Bajwa has already issued orders of transfers/postings of customs officials at Collector, Deputy Collector, Additional Collector and Assistant Collector level.

In addition, sources in Customs House told Customs Today that more transfers and postings are likely to be expected in coming days.
