World Bank delegation appreciates Land Record Program of Punjab Revenue Board

LAHORE: A group of World Bank has visited Land Record Computerization Center in Lahore Cantt. World Bank gives financial support to Punjab Revenue Board for computerization of land record.

According to spokesperson of Punjab Revenue Board a delegation of World Bank visited Record Center in supervision of Mission Head Edward Cook. Other members of the delegation were Aegar Papu, Toni Bern and Miss Samina.

Deputy Project Director Land Record Zafar Iqbal during briefing told the mission that Land record of 143 Tehsils of Punjab has been computerized. After Computerization land record it is very easy for citizens to get their case record within 30 minutes. Computerization of land record has facilitated the citizens in transfer, sale and purchase of property. It was briefed to the Mission that 99 percent people are satisfied with the services of Punjab Revenue Board after this project.

World Bank Mission appreciated the project and officials working for it. Punjab Board of Revenue assured the mission that all the targets will be achieved within time.
