World Customs Organisation awards commendation certificates to two Multan customs officials

MULTAN: The World Customs Organisation has awarded appreciation certificates to two officials of the Anti-Smuggling Organisation of the Model Customs Collectorate Multan.

World Customs Organisation Secretary General Kunio Mikuriya has decorated the officials with the certificates for their outstanding performance.

During an impressive ceremony at the Wahga border, the certificates were awarded to the two inspectors by Customs Central Region Chief Collector Rozi Khan Burki.

Multan MCC Collector Sarfaraz Ahmad Warraich has congratulated the inspectors for their extraordinary performance and has advised other official to follow the suit.

Inspector Haq Nawaz is serving in the Anti-Smuggling Organisation of vehicle branch. Imran Qureshi is serving as the examining officer in the Multan customs.

Inspector Haq Nawaz has been awarded for seizing 39 smuggled vehicles in Punjab during last six months.

Most of the seized vehicles were confiscated from the customs adjudication and remaining vehicles are under adjudication.
