LONDON: Notes for World of Warcraft patch 6.1 have reportedly leaked online, and they include a number of unexpected additions to the game.

The notes were reportedly leaked as the patch was being deployed on the public test realm.

According to the patch notes, the patch will add a number of anti-aliasing options to the game, including MSAA, SSAA+ and CMAA, and Nvidia’s HBAO.

Twitter integration has also reportedly been added. The system will allow players to tweet from in-game, and can be configured to automatically tweet on special occasions, for example, when a boss is killed, or when a new piece of epic loot is obtained. A screenshot can also be attached.

Blizzard has clawed its way out a hole in the eyes of many (not all) World of Warcraft players with the release of Warlords of Draenor. Because of players turning their attention back to WoW, each patch and update for the expansion will be datamined until every word has been looked over.

Looking at what is coming in upcoming patches isn’t necessarily a bad idea, it gives you a good idea of the items to look forward to and how to play your character should your main get nerfed (or buffed).

Dataming of patch 6.1 has revealed something other than items, nerfs, and the like; it has revealed a ‘Veteran Edition.’ This Veteran Edition is listed under account types, what it does or will be is heresay at this point – but dataminers did uncover data files similar to the Trial Edition account within the veteran account. Where the Trial Edition limits your level (you can play until level 20 for free), the Veteran Edition shows a level cap, money cap and chat channel restrictions.

Whether or not this account type will be implemented is unknown. It could simply be an idea Blizzard is toying with, only time will tell.
