LONDON: A majestic carrier has dropped anchor at Durban port. It’s the world’s largest vehicle carrier with a price tag of $100-million.
The Höegh Target vessel is on its maiden voyage from Europe. Transnet says the vessel’s stopover in Durban marks a momentous occasion, and good news for the economy. This carrier is the first of six to be manufactured.
