MUMBAI: The Chinese leading smartphone company Xiaomi has launched its first tablet under the name plate of MiPad in India in Rs 12,999. MiPad tablet is featured with 7.9 inch display and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It has a quad core 2.2GHz Nvidia Tegra processor to power it. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded to up to 128GB of extra storage via microSD.
The device runs on Android laced with MIUI software that runs on a 6700mAh battery. It also features a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear camera. The Xiaomi MiPad weighs 360 grams and is 202 x 135.4 x 8.5 millimeters.
The Xiaomi MiPad is available for purchase at Rs 12,999.
