Xiaomi launches Mi Note dual SIM smartphone at $371

NEW DELHI: Xiaomi has unveiled  new flagship smartphone, the Mi Note. The 16GB variant is priced at CNY 2,299 or $371, while the 64GB variant will be selling at a price of CNY 2,799 or $452.

User can watch and subscribe: Latest video of smartphones and tablets. It is a dual SIM smartphone with both Nano and Micro SIM functionalities. The handset has metal frames.The phone features a 5.7-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution has corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 3GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. It also supports 4G LTE connectivity.

The device boasts a 13MP rear camera with a six-element lens, OIS, a Sony CMOS sensor, and two-tone flash from Philips. It also has a 4MP front facing camera with 2-micron pixels.

The Xiaomi Mi Note also has a dedicated chip for audio (ESS ES9018K2M) and claims to be the highest quality of audio on any phone. It offers 24-bit/192KHz lossless playback support. The Xiaomi Mi Note is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 technology.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G tablet will also go on sale for Indian customers from January 16 via Airtel stores. The offer will allow customers to buy a Redmi Note 4G without any pre-booking from the nearest Airtel store.

This is in addition to the ongoing booking process where mobile users can get an appointment at a store of their choice to purchase the Redmi Note 4G by visiting Airtel’s website.
