Xiaomi Mi 4 smartphone gets price cut from 1999 yuan to 1799 yuan in China

BEIJING: Xiaomi has announced that the company has slashed the price of Mi 4 (16GB) smartphone from 1999 yuan to 1799 yuan in the Chinese market. The smartphone can now be ordered at the reduced price from the company store.

The company has also revealed that it will be offering a 2GB RAM variant of the Mi 4 (16GB) at 1699 yuan during the Mi Fan Festival on April 8. The normal Mi 4 comes with 3GB of RAM. There is no word on whether the 2GB RAM variant will continue to be available after the festival.
