NEW DELHI: Xiaomi will introduce it latest smartphone Mi 4i on 23 April. According to the available information, the Xiaomi Mi 4i will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 SoC, a 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. The device will also ship with 2GB of RAM and Android 5.0.2 will come pre-installed here. We don’t have more information regarding its specifications now, but it seems like this will be a rather solid mid-range device. We don’t know how much will it cost either at the moment, but it should be priced around (or even under) 1,500 Yuan ($241).

Xiaomi still has quite a few devices to release this year. We thought the company will slow down after a ton of initial releases, but it seems like that won’t be the case. Other than devices releases, Xiaomi is also planning to expand to other areas, and they’ll even open up shop in India by the end of the year (Q3 or Q4).
