BEJING: The key configurations of the Xiaomi Mi5 have been leaked and the specs will not disappoint fans of “the Apple of China.” The Xiaomi Mi 5 apparently has the code name Libra.

Mobi Picker says, the device will have a 5.3-inch display with 1,440-x-2,560-pixels screen resolution. This display combination translates to a pixel density of 554 ppi. The smartphone will reportedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The device will have 4 GB of RAM. It will reportedly run on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will reportedly have 16 GB or 64 GB of built-in storage. It will feature a microSD card slot for expansion. The phone will sport a 16 MP rear-facing camera and a 6 MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video chats. The handset will have a 3,030 mAh battery. A fingerprint scanner is also being speculated to be part of this device.

Xiaomi will apparently be unveiling the new flagship in November. Why the delay? The company is trying to make sure the overheating problem reported in Snapdragon 810 SoC is not part of the successor Snapdragon 820, notes Phone Arena.
