New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi will start selling smartphones in India later this year through its own portal as it to further increase its presence in one of the world’s fast growing devices market. Xiaomi has mostly been relying on Flipkart to sell its smartphones in India, will bring in its website ‘Mi.com’ to India in the latter part of the year.

Xiaomi has mostly sold devices through its own Mi.com website in locations where it operates, India and Indonesia being expectations of course. So it was only a matter of time that the company implemented the same strategy here.
