Xi’s visit to boost Pak-China bilateral ties: Dr Miftah

ISLAMABAD: Board of Investment Chairman Dr Miftah Ismail has said that Chinese President Xi’s upcoming visit to Pakistan will further boost the ties between the two countries as China’s support is vital to curb energy crisis in the country.

While talking to Radio Pakistan, he said that solar power, wind power, coal power, Gwadar Port and Pak-China Economic Corridor projects would be signed during his visit.

Economist Dr Shahid Hassan Siddiqui said, “Pak-China Economic Corridor is no more a dream rather it is a reality now. Pakistan could improve its economy with the support of China. Coal should be utilized in various projects”.

He said Pak-china Economic Corridor would bring economic revolution in the country. Analyst Dr Rasheed Ahmed Khan also said that upcoming visit of Chinese President would be very fruitful as many mega project agreements would be signed.
