WASHINGTON: Global Ports Holding has named Stephen Xuereb to the newly created role of chief operating officer, effective immediately. Global Ports is the world’s largest cruise port operator. Xuereb will be responsible for the overall performance of both cruise and commercial port operations for all of the 11 ports falling under the GPH portfolio.
Currently serving as General Manager of Valletta Cruise Port, Xuereb, joined GPH in 2015 following the acquisition of Valetta Cruise Port (VCP). He will also continue in his current role as the GM of VCP.
