Xur once again selling always-useful Starfire Protocol for Warlocks

TOKYO: Last week, Xur shocked Destiny players everywhere when he decided not to sell an exotic weapon. Was it some form of protest about intergalactic weapon dealing? A labor union dispute? A form of silent rebellion against the guardians who throw strange coins at the merchant every week in exchange for exotic gear?

Bungie says it was just a glitch, but we know better. Whatever the reason, Xur is back to his normal self this week. You will find your usual selection of exotic armor for each class as well as an exotic weapon.

Xur is once again selling the always-useful Starfire Protocol for Warlocks, which grants the wearer increased heavy ammo and fusion rifle ammo when upgraded. It also grants an additional fusion grenade. More grenades are never a bad thing. For Titans, there is The Armamentarium a similar style of chest piece that grants an additional grenade, as well as more heavy and special weapon ammo.

The oddball out this week is Young Ahamkara’s Spine. This piece of Hunter gear lets the user place their trip mine grenades for a longer period of time and replenishes super energy when an enemy is slain with a grenade.

As for Xur’s weapon of choice this week, it is the sniper rifle Patience and Time. A handy exotic to have in your collection, this sniper cloaks the user when aimed down the sights. You can also snag an exotic chest engram for 23 motes of light, should you so desire.

Below is Xur’s exact location (courtesy of FindXur.com). He’s hanging out by the Speaker again, not so far from where he was last week. You can read on for his wares.
