According to PC Mag, Reading Rainbow’s LeVar Burton said in a statement that “I’m excited that YouTube Kids is making this commitment to give families a safe environment to spark curiosity while still entertaining.”

Furthermore, GSM Arena reported that a leaked photo of the said app has different television line-up for children, including the “Sesame Street,” “Thomas the Tank Engine,” “Reading Rainbow,” and “Yo Gabba” Google also added a radio button on the app that allows children to watch music videos.

Moreover, it is said that parents can manage and limit the use of the “YouTube Kids” app. It is said that once the app timer is off, it will automatically shut down and will require a password for it to be opened. Also, if the child attempts to search for an adult content, the kid will receive a message that reads “Try something else.”
