PANAJI: Heeding a request from the Goa chamber of commerce and industry (GCCI), the world Zarathushti chamber of commerce has decided to conduct its annual global meeting in Goa and has invited member of British parliament and well-known economist Lord Meghnad Desai as the chief guest.
Being the only chamber of commerce for the miniscule Zarathushti community, the body aims to promote and reward entrepreneurship among Parsis.
The 15-year old chamber will hold its annual general body meeting on December 19 at the international centre, Dona Paula, during which GCCI will throw light on investment opportunities in the state. Four heads of local industries will also speak about their experience with investing in Goa and the opportunities available.
