Urges to work fearlessly, with devotion to achieve revenue collection target

LAHORE: The Chief Collector of Customs Central Region Zeba Hai Azhar held a grand meeting with officers of Customs Preventive and Appraisement department Lahore.

Sources told Customs Today that since the chief collector assumed the charge of her office it was the first interaction between the officers of both the Collectorates.

It was said that the chief collector encouraged the officers to do their best to achieve the financial year’s targets and to prove themselves by coming up to the high expectations of the top bosses and the government.

She was quoted as saying that the officers must not give in before any pressure and work fearlessly besides the chief collector urged the officers to come straight to her in case of any difficulty in the way of revenue collection.

The sources further said that the chief collector greeted the officers of both the Collectorates for achieving targets for the outgoing month of March.

Though the target of revenue collection for the month was ambitious the Collectorates did their best in order not only to achieve the targets for the month but also accede it, she was quoted as saying.

The chief collector urged the officers of both the Collectorates to work with the same sprit to achieve the financial year’s targets. On the occasion collectors of both Collectorates Chaudhary Zulfiqar Ali and Jamil Nasir were present, the sources said.
