ZLK Islamic Financial Services Engages with Turkish Ambassador

ISLAMABAD: Zahid Latif Khan, Chairman of ZLK Islamic Financial Services (Pvt.) Limited, along with Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Khan, Business Executive Manager, held a meeting with His Excellency Dr. Irfan Neziroğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Pakistan, to explore avenues for collaboration in the field of Islamic finance and capital markets.

The meeting served as a platform to strengthen bilateral engagement and discuss opportunities for economic cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye. During the discussion, Mr. Zahid Latif Khan introduced ZLK Islamic Financial Services as Pakistan’s first Shariah-compliant brokerage firm licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), highlighting its commitment to providing ethical, interest-free investment solutions in the capital market.

Key areas of discussion included the potential for joint ventures and strategic partnerships, as well as the promotion of Shariah-compliant investments. Both sides acknowledged the growing importance of Islamic finance as a catalyst for sustainable economic development and financial inclusion.

His Excellency Dr. Irfan Neziroğlu appreciated the efforts of ZLK Islamic Financial Services in advancing Islamic finance in Pakistan and emphasized the significance of such initiatives in strengthening the financial ecosystem. He also expressed keen interest in visiting the Islamabad Stock Exchange Tower to gain further insight into Pakistan’s capital market landscape.

The meeting underscored the strong cultural affinity, shared values, and mutual respect between Pakistan and Türkiye, which continue to provide a solid foundation for long-term cooperation in Islamic finance and capital markets.

As a gesture of goodwill, Mr. Zahid Latif Khan presented a token of appreciation to His Excellency Dr. Irfan Neziroğlu.
