Zong, Mobilink look for reaching out almost all major cities districts of Pakistan with 3G

ISLAMABAD: Zong and Mobilink look for reaching out almost all the major cities districts of Pakistan with 3G network coverage.

Mr. Liu Dianfeng, Chairman and CEO of Zong, told that Pakistan has good data services market and to feed it, his company already deploys more than 500 4G cell sites in Pakistan and more 3700 sites are now 3G-enabled.

Talking about Mobilink, most recently, on May 10, 2015, it added 7 more cities (Wazirabad, Bhalwal, Daska, Dipalpur, Chakwal, Mandi, Pattoki and Bahauddin) and now today it added 10 more ones – making them to be 53 now. Below given is the list of those 10 new cities which will enjoy their 3G services:

Farooqabad

Hafizabad

Harripur

Ganda Singh Wala

Chunian

Raiwind

Kasur

Nankana Sahib

Kasur

Talagang

For testing their 3G services, they offer free 3G trial service in above given ten cities till May 25, 2015. Under this free trial offer, customers in the cities can enjoy unlimited service of their 3G technology. If customers of Mobilink want to know if they are in their service area, they can dial *443*1# and if they want to activate their 3G services, they can dial the same with 1 replaced by 3 (*443*3#).

CEO of Zong also told the media that they invested more than $300 million in Pakistan just for keeping up with highly innovative technologies.

Mobilink was the first and is the leading cellular network in Pakistan founded in 1994 and since then it has been continuously enjoying such milestones in the country and this expansion of its 3G services to 10 more cities is one step further.

Both cellular networks, Mobilink and Zong reaffirmed to be taking more care towards customer’s experience.
