ISLAMABAD:  Eight Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) have provided details of action taken against those assets holders who didn’t take advantage of government announced Tax Amnesty Scheme 2018 to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR); however 11 RTOs are yet to provide the details of its notices issued and other related action taken against them, it is learnt here.

Official sources told Customs Today that FBR has earlier directed all the RTOs to issue notices and take stern actions against those assets holders who generated PSIDs; however, they didn’t pay their taxes and declare their assets through government announced Tax Amnesty Scheme 2018.
