150 CDA officials complete 11th training course on project management

ISLAMABAD: Training course of CDA officials was completed here the other day which was aimed to train CDA officers on the concept of “project management”, techniques, functions, building information, methods of procurement of project, quality management etc.

The closing ceremony of 11th training course organised by CDA Training Academy was held at Pak China Friendship Centre. Ex member environment Ahsan Ali Mangi was the chief guest. About 150 engineers and officers from CDA, NESPAK, and students of NICS, Pak Turk and Bahria University participated in the course of project management.

Chief guest said in his speech that he was very happy to see such informative courses being held at CDA Training Academy. He said outside world is excelling because of the training courses and refreshing their knowledge through such training academies. Courses and training are integral part of service, which not only improve knowledge of the officers but also enhance their working capabilities. He appreciated CDA chairman for reviving the CDA Training Academy and termed it as a marvellous addition in CDA’s infrastructure.

CDA Training Academy’s executive director general, in his speech thanked all the guest and students of the course and informed them about future plans of the academy. He expressed the hope that these courses will prove fruitful in future for their service to work better for CDA and invited all to participate maximum and get them registered in CDA Training Academy. He said that CDA has so far completed 11 courses, four lectures and an international conference successfully. He also informed about the MOUs being signed between CDA Training Academy and various universities and institutions. He urged students to take benefit out of these courses.
