200 cartons of non-excise paid local cigarettes confiscated in Multan

MULTAN: The officials of revenue authority have confiscated a huge quantity of non-duty paid cigarettes.

The officials of Multan Regional Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation (Inland Revenue), on tipoff, conducted raids against non-excise paid cigarette in the suburbs of the city under the supervision of its assistant director. Around 200 cartons of non-excise paid local cigarette were recovered and subsequently confiscated. The regional authorities have intensified its efforts against the non-duty paid cigarettes as per enforcement action under the law.
