SYDNEY: Holden has unveiled the 2015 Cruze facelift in Australia and set to go on sale on January 20th. The new model comes with a new front fascia and a revised grille that echoes its Chevy Cruze counterpart.

Additional changes for the new face model are limited, but the new Cruze Equipe gains new 17-inch alloy wheels and exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals. The Cruze SRi goes one step further as this vehicle comes with fog lights and new LED daytime running lights. And last is the SRi-V model featured all the aforementioned equipped as well as a remote starting system, suede seat inserts, rain sensing wipers, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Holden Marketing Director Bill Mott said, “The new front fascia and grille give the car an athletic, modern look and the added features make Cruze a compelling package in the small car class.”

Cruze also receives technology enhancements including Remote Start, Rain Sensing Wipers and LED Daytime Running Lights on certain models

Holden’s Cruze – the only small car built in Australia- has welcomed in the New Year with a range of appealing enhancements. Most notably, the Cruze has a fresh and bold, front fascia which, when combined with newly introduced LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) give it greater road presence and an ability to stand out from the crowd.

In the suite of upgrades the Cruze Equipe, winner of the RACV, RACQ and RAA Annual Running Costs Survey 2014*, benefits from new 17” alloy wheels and exterior mirrors with integrated turn signal lamps.

The performance-orientated Cruze SRi receives the same upgrades in addition to LED DRLs and fog lamps, whilst the even sportier SRi-V is kitted out with new 18” alloy wheels, rain sensing wipers and suede seat inserts. SRi-V also gets remote start functionality as available in VF Commodore, allowing customers to start the car remotely and use the air conditioning to cool, or heat the car before getting in.

Satellite navigation with voice command and live traffic updates is also introduced to the luxury-focused Cruze CDX sedan to round off a compelling refresh to an already popular range of vehicles.

Holden’s Director of Marketing, Bill Mott, said that the changes for 2015 demonstrated Holden’s ongoing commitment to producing technologically advanced, good looking and, above all, great value vehicles. “The new front fascia and grille give the car an athletic, modern look and the added features make Cruze a compelling package in the small car class.,” Mr Mott said.

“With remote start, satellite navigation, reverse cameras and the award winning, MyLink infotainment system, Holden is able to offer technology not previously available in small cars. It is all part of our commitment to provide feature packed vehicles and exceptional customer value.” The 2015 Holden Cruze goes on sale 20 January nationwide.
