KUALA TERENGGANU: A 22-year-old single mother is being facing mandatory death sentence for possessing eight vials of syabu weighing to 32 grammes.
The woman, suspected to be a drug pusher in Kuala Terengganu area is currently being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952. According to a source, the woman was picked up by the narcotic team from Kuala Terengganu police station at a hypermarket at about 2 pm on Sunday. Test on her showed positive for methamphetamine.
“She then led the police to her house in Seri Kolam flat, here, before eight vials of whitish powder believed to be syabu were seized,” said the source adding that two note books were seized along with a Yamaha LC135 and RM1,102 cash.
