2nd session of Weboc training held at LCCI

LAHORE: Second session of WEBOC training workshop was held at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on Saturday to train the traders in.

As many as 18 participants took part in the training those were told to carry out self-customs-clearance, build strong profile to avail green channel, reduce cost of doing business, swift clearance through one window and transparency.

At the outset of the session, Deputy Director I&I Lahore Salman Afzal discussed salient features of WEBOC process flow of GD clearance, risk management in Weboc, workflow of various channels in Weboc, trader profiling for risk management in Weboc and valuation rulings.

Mr. Inam ul Wahid imparted hand on training to the participants on following modules including import and export GD filing and processing, communication with WEBOC system, Interaction with stake holders through system.

Dot Director Lahore Zulifqar Younis awarded certificate to participants and concluded the session.

The participants who took part in the Weboc training session included Muhammad Naeem-Ud-Din, Muzaffar Ali Chaudhary, Ms Nida Tahreem, Muhammad Altaf-Ul-Nassar Kashif, Muhammad Jamil Khan, Mohammad Asif Aslam, Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Wajeh ullah Khan, Nabeel Ijaz, Ms. Sadia Mazhar, Muhammad Irfan Khalid, Ms Shaista Afzal, Rizwan Yousaf, Muhammad Tahir, Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhry, Usman Zulfiqar, Ms. Madiha Siddique and Samraan Javed.

Training Cordinator Ahmad Yar Bhatti and PRAL Junior User Support officer Mehran Hafiz were also present on the occasion.
