KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has finally decided to receive tax from search engine Google. A comprehensive strategy for this purpose is in the final stage. The FBR examines some measures to bring Google under the tax net.
Sources told Customs Today that the FBR has decided to receive tax from the beginning of the new fiscal year. Sources said that this tax will be levied on Google on its income which Google generates from Pakistan.
Sources said that Google earning billions through its business in Pakistan so FBR will be able to collect reasonable amount from Google by bringing it under tax net.
