Customs Preventive collects Rs 2335 million duty, taxes in June

LAHORE: Collectorate of Custom Preventive has collected Rs 2335 million duty and taxes during the month of June 2016.

The collectoarte made the total by contributing all the four duty and taxes including customs duty, sales tax, with holding tax and federal excise duty.

As per details the collectorate collected Rs 666 million customs duty during the period under review while the collectorate collected Rs 1050 million sales tax.

On the other hand the collctorate collcetd Rs 612 million withholding tax while it collected Rs 4 million FED during the last month of Fy 2015-16.

Formally, Collectorate of Customs Preventive registered growth of 16 percent by collecting Rs 2353 million duty and taxes against target Rs2026 million during the month of May 2016.

The collectorate collected Rs 731 million customs duty against the month’s target of Rs 645 million while the collectorate collected Rs 566 million withholding tax against the target of Rs 599 million.

 Similarly, the collectorate collected Rs 1026 million sales tax against the target of Rs 772 million while the collectorate collected Rs 29 million federal excise duty (FED) against Rs 9 million. On the whole, the collectorate collected Rs 2353 million duty and taxes during the month of May 2016.
