SHC will take up more than 80 cases related to customs, income tax today

KARACHI: According to the roster, a division bench headed by Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Rasheed Ahmed Soomro will hear customs and income tax related cases including those which were filed by Commissioner Inland Revenue Zone-II vs M/s. Rasul Flour Mills Pvt Ltd, M/s Lucky Cement Ltd vs Chief Minister and Others, Muhammad Ibrahim and Others vs Director of Intelligence and Others, M/s Diamond Metals (AoP) versus Federation of Pakistan and Ors, Commissioner of Income Tax versus M/s Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan, M/s New Shaheen Jeweller vs Commissioner of Income Tax, Pakistan International Airlines Corporation versus Collector Sales Tax& Federal Excise Large Tax, Owais Ismail & Others versus Federation of Pakistan & Others, Commissioner Inland Revenue Zone-III versus M/s. I. Lace Fashion (Pvt) Ltd, Commissioner Inland Revenue Zone-IV versus M/s. Silk Bank Ltd. & Others, Commissioner Inland Revenue Zone-IV  versus M/s. Al-Abbas Sugar Mills Ltd.

Another division bench, comprising Justice Munib Akhter and Justice Saeeduddin Nasir will hear customs and income tax related cases including those which were filed by Fateh Textile Mills Ltd & others versus M/s Allied Bank of Pakistan Ltd, Collector of Customs versus Haji Abdul Raziq Khan & Bros & another, Collector of Customs versus Zafarul Islam, Taufiqueur Rehman Qureshi & another versus JS Bank Limited & another, Engr: Nasim Ahmed vs Province of Sindh and ors, M/s Altaf Printing Press versus Fed of Pakistan and Ors, Mrs. Sana Rizwan versus Mrs. Amna Fahim & others, Zulfiqar Matten vs M/s. SME Bank Ltd. & others, M/s Haji Razzak Haji Habib Janon versus Fed, Of Pakistan and ors, Pacific Exim (pvt) ltd vs Fed. Of Pakistan and ors, M/s.
