90% imports are transferred on WeBOC system: Additional Collector Waheed Mawat

‏ISLAMABAD: Additional Collector Waheed Marwat said that he has provided initial training to business community, exporters and importers how to use Web-Based One Custom (WeBOC) system and due to his efforts 90% of imports are already been transferred on WeBOC during his two years tenure at MCCI.

Marwat who was served as additional collector customs collectorate Islamabad recently transferred to Additional Director Customs Intelligence Headquarter.

He told Customs Today that he has spend his promising two years at customs with honor and regard, he always performed  his duties according to customs laws and tried use all of his efforts to meet and achieve the monthly and annually revenue targets.

He said that he had installed WeBOC system at dry port Islamabad and trained people with his friendly wisdom that how they can easily use the WeBOC and can made their business safely and timely.

His colleagues at Customs intelligence told Customs Today that Marwat got a soft heart and tounge, he always look eager to serve the Customs according to his duties.

Marwat told that when former Collector Miss Hai was departed from Customs Collectorate) she was decided to hand over the pending cases of Customs Collectorate to him because of his updated knowledge.
