FBR directs Customs Intelligence Multan to prepare list for new recruitments

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed the Multan Customs Intelligence and Investigation to prepare a list of required staff to fulfill the vacant posts in the department.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation has started preparing the list of required staff for their operational activities after the directions of Federal Board of Revenue. The Federal Board of Revenue has taken the action on the news of Customs Today that Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan needs fresh recruitment’s to perform their operational activities in the region.

Directorate I & I FBR seek out from the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan range office about the shortage of staff to recruit new staff according to the requirement of the Customs Department.

Additional Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range office Nisar Ahmad was desperately looking for the inclusion of new staff for the improvement of their operational routine activities in the region. Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range office comprised of three regions Multan, Sadiqabad and Dera Ghazi Khan.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation is covering almost the whole boundary of South Punjab region, but their working capacity of men power was almost 39. Due to paucity of men power the Customs Intelligence and Investigation performance was also affecting, because its existing employees were also too old to hunt smugglers and few of them would be retired very soon.

The previous recruitment’s in the Customs Intelligence and Investigation was done in the  year  1993 and after that there would be no recruitment done in the Department.
