Customs’ special court sends three suspects on 14-day remand in alcohol recovery case

LAHORE: Customs Taxation and Anti Smuggling Special Court sent three accused in liquor recovery case on 14-days judicial remand on Friday.

According to details, three accused involved in running illegal private bar in Defense area of Lahore were arrested by the Customs intelligence. On Friday all accused were presented to Court of Customs and Taxation where Judge Nazeer Ahmad Gunjana ordered to send them to jail for fourteen days.

Court has asked Customs Intelligence and Investigation to complete challan of the case and to present in the next hearing.

Customs Intelligence and investigation has completed its investigation from the accused.

The ASO team conducted successful operation and seized 620 units of foreign origin liquor worth Rs 1.8 million, arresting three accused including supplier javaid Alfred, Buta and Amir Malik.

Case was registered against these accused according to Custom act 1969 under section 156/1-89 of S-2.
