Customs releases vehicles impounded during raid at private bar

LAHORE: Customs Intelligence and Investigation has released two vehicles that were impounded during an operation against a private bar in Lahore.

As per the details, Customs Intelligence had raided a bar in DHA on a tip-off and seized 620 units of high-quality imported wine, arresting three accused.

Customs also took into custody two vehicles on suspicion of smuggling during the raid.

After the verification of documents, the department handed over the vehicles – a Honda Civic and another American-made vehicle – to the owners.

The accused who were running the illegal bar are in the custody of customs for further interrogation.
