PRA seals five marriage halls, three restaurants in Gujranwala

SIALKOT: Special teams of the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) have sealed as many as five marriage halls and three restaurants in Gujranwala division for not paying sales tax since long.

Punjab Revenue Authority Chairman Dr Raheel Ahmed Sadiquie, Enforcement Commissioner Javaid Ahmed and Enforcement Deputy Commissioner Zakaullah jointly led these teams, which conducted a crackdown on defaulter marriage halls and restaurants in Gujranwala city’s different areas, including Chan Da Qila, Model Town, Pindi Bypass, Chicharwali and GT Road.

The PRA teams sealed five marriage halls and three restaurants, including Allah Rakha Tikka Shop, Raheem Tikka Shop (Chand Da Qila), Kundan Restaurant (Model Town), Baraq Marriage Hall, Shalimar Marriage Hall, Payal Marriage Hall (Kangniwala), Rajina Palace Marriage Hall (Peoples’ Colony-Approach Road)and Prince Marriage Hall (Judicial Colony-Upper Chenab Canal) for not paying their five percent sales tax.
