ICCI’s Shabir appeals Customs authorities to solve importers issues

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary General Majid Shabir has said Customs authority should focus on importers issues and solve it on priority bases. Good governance in departments is also need of the hour.

While talking to Customs Today, he said that authorities  concerned should help the importers and business community and provide them supportive environment. It will improve local and foreign investment in the country also.

Majid Shabir further said that government should keep low tax rate in upcoming budget while government should not apply vertical taxation technique. He added that government should not set the ambiguous target in the next budget while tax forms should make simple and in Urdu. He said government should create business-friendly environment.
