FBR orders staff to strictly follow office timing

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has taken notice of late arrivals of the staff and ordered all concerned to strictly following office-timings in future.

Sources told Customs Today that the FBR has passed-on these instructions to all Regional Tax Offices and asked them to make sure that their staff should not attend duty late. The FBR authorities also reminded all concerned that their late arrivals at duty places causes bad reputation of the department, so they should avoid this practice.

The authorities further reminds concerned officials that due to their late arrivals customers have to wait for hours who come to visit office for their work.

The authorities concludes that in future whosoever finds not to report for duty on scheduled time will be punished according to rules and regulations.
