KARACHI: Taking grave exception to the failure of the Federal Investigation Agency’s investigation officer to submit a challan in a weapons smuggling case, the Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling gave him the last warning to submit the challan.

Judge Syed Faiz Rasool Rashdi became furious when the counsel for FIA submitted application on behalf of the investigation officer, seeking adjournment of the case. He remarked that the investigation officer is dilly-dallying to submit the challan despite the high court’s direction for disposal of the case in four months.
