FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication has sent a show-cause notice under section 171 to an alleged smuggler involved in smuggling of 39,500 litres of diesel.
As per details, the customs officials intercepted an oil tanker bearing Registration No. TLJ-165 in its respective jurisdiction and asked the driver namely Sher Abbas to produce the documents but he remained fail.
Therefore, Customs officials confiscated the oil tanker along with 39,500 liters of diesel and sent the case to adjudication for further action.
The customs adjudication served notice upon the suspect directing him to file the reply in the case within thirty days after receiving the notice, otherwise stern action will be taken against the accused.
