Customs foils bid to smuggle Iranian dates, blankets

MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range have impounded 20,000 kgs of smuggled dates and 400 blankets during a raid here.

According to sources in the Custom, the Custom I & I Multan Rang conducted a raid near Dera Ghazi Khan and impounded a truck loaded with Iranian dates (Muzafati). The team also seized 400 smuggled blankets worth Rs800,000.
