Faisalabad Customs seizes non-duty paid Hino truck

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad has seized a Hino truck bearing registration No. TKN- 083 worth Rs 1,500,000 under section 157(2), of Custom’s Act 1969.

Sources Told Customs Today that Director Saud Imran received credible information that a non-duty paid truck is plying on the roads. Therefore, the director constituted a raiding team comprising senior intelligence officer, Muhammad Tahir Iqbal, intelligence officer Main Muhammad Yousaf, and Ghulam Ghous, Muhammad Naeem Niazi and Allah Bux (sepoys).

The customs staff seized the truck near Pensra City on Jhang Road which was coming  from Lahore to Faisalabad.

The Customs intelligence team asked the driver, who was identified as Noor-ud- Din son of  Slah-ud- Din, to produce legal documents of the truck but he failed to provide the same. The customs team seized the truck and registered a case against its owner.
