ISLAMABAD: Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin to Abu Dhabi at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad and arrested the accused who has gulped the heroin-filled capsules, on the spot.
According to the details, ANF team intercepted a passenger Wahdat Khan who was going to Abu Dhabi through private airlines NL-551on suspicion and during interrogation the suspect accepted to have gulped heroin-filled capsules.
Following the confession, the team shifted accused to hospital for recovery of hospital and recovered 120 capsules from his stomach.
ANF officials said that accused has been sent behind the bars, while further investigation is underway.
