Tax evasion: FBR asks to take stern action against three companies in FATA

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected important information about three companies of FATA which are allegedly involved in Rs 280 million tax evasion.

According to the sources, Directorate General Intelligence and investigation Inland Revenue (IR) has sent a report to the FBR mentioning three industrial units, including Gul Associates, Shah Zaman Polypropylene, and Smad industries in tax evasion of 280 Rs million.

Sources further said that these companies have evaded sales tax, income tax and value added tax. Now directorate IR has requested the FBR to issue orders for a thorough investigation of these companies.
