England police seize $650K of drugs in Oakville bust

HOLTON: The Halton Regional Police Burlington Strategic Support Team has concluded an investigation into an Oakville drug trafficker that began in November 2015.
Police received information, the accused, David Adams, was trafficking bulk amounts of cannabis marijuana in the Town of Oakville.
On December 8, 2015, officers observed two men attend the accused’s residence on Bronte Road in the Town of Oakville. They entered the residence with a seemingly empty gym bag and left with a gym bag which appeared to be full. Both men were arrested and found in possession of six (6) pounds of cannabis marijuana. David Adams was subsequently arrested.
A Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant was executed on the residence and several drug trafficking related items were seized including 150 pounds of marijuana, over $22,000 in cash, a money counter and scales, three pounds of Hash oil, Hashish “crackle” and a number of unknown pills. A replica Uzi machine gun and a pellet handgun with silencer were also seized.
The street value for the seized drugs is approximately $650,000.
The following men have been arrested and charged:
David ADAMS, 39 years from Oakville has been charged with trafficking marijuana, two counts of possession for the purpose, unlawfully produce marijuana and possession of property obtained by crime.
Alex HICKLING, 36 years from London has been charged with possession for the purpose.
Andrew RAPOSO, 23 years from London has also been charged with possession for the purpose.
