KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is going to establish Large Taxpayers Unit LTU-II in Karachi that aims at broadening the tax net and overall collection.
In this regard, the Second Secretary (SSM), Yousaf Butt has issued a letter to all the officials concerned, informing them about the consent of the president of Pakistan.
“I am directed to refer to the above subject and to convey the sanction of the president of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the creation of Large Taxpayers Unit II Karachi with immediate effect,” the letter says.
