RTO-I arrests owner of Prince Battery in tax evasion of Rs 9.2 million

LAHORE: Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has arrested the owner of Prince Battery Services due to his involvement in tax evasion of of Rs 9.2 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Regional Tax Office-I, Zone-IV has arrested the owner of Prince Battery Services who is identified as Mazhar Khan on charges of Rs 9.2 million income tax evasion.

RTO-I sources said that Regional Tax Office-I  sends many notices to owner of Prince Battery Services Mazhar Khan for the payment of tax liability of Rs 9.2 million but Prince Battery Services fail to clear their outstanding tax amount.

After their failure the RTO-I team raided on the premises of Prince Battery Services and arrested the owner Mazher Khan.

Mazhar Khan is tax defaulter from 2012. The raid was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Zone-IV Talib Hussain, which includes Inspector Kamran Mufti and Syed Waqas Ahmed.
