LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Inland Revenue Operations Member Dr. Muhammad Irshad said Government of Pakistan was expecting Rs 170 billion income through the Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme.
The member also said that 1.2 million new taxpayers would also be brought into tax net through this scheme. He also urged the whole sellers and retailers to take benefits from the scheme.
The traders should avail the facility and file the tax returns for stablising the national economy and improved the tax collection.
